Intended use
The test detects horse DNA (Equua caballus). Each reaction contains an internal amplification control and an internal detection assay for vertebrates DNA (IAAC).
General Information
The real-time PCR assay can be used with established real-time PCR instruments, equipped for detection of two fluorescence emissions at 510 nm and 580 nm at the same time. The technical validation of instruments was performed on Roche LightCycler® 2.0*, Roche LightCycler® 480 II, Roche cobas z 480 Analyzer, Qiagen Rotor-Gene Q, Applied Biosystems 7500, Bio-Rad CFX96, Agilent Mx3005P and on LTF MyGo Pro.
*note: A Color Compensation is necessary for users of the Roche LightCyclerR 2.0. The SureCC Color Compensation kit II (Art. No. F4010) must be used for the color compensation of such devices.
