Intended use
The TANBead Maelstrom™ 8 Autostage (Taiwan Advanced Nanotech) is a fully automated operating instrument for nucleic acid purification and isolation using magnetic beads and rods. The instrument uses the TANBead patented Maelstrom Spin Mixing Technology to enhance and optimize the nucleic acid binding performance by magnetic beads.
It is intended to be used with the SureFast® Mag PREP Food (F1060) for the automated isolation of animal and plant DNA from food and feed as well as bacterial DNA from bacterial culture enrichments or with the SureFast® Mag PREP Pathogen (F1062)for the isolation of DNA and RNA viruses nucleic acids from food and feed, filters from water samples and swabs as well as bacterial DNA from bacterial culture enrichments.
The SureFast® Mag PREP kits are pre-filled reagent kits which can be easily loaded into the TANBead Maelstrom™ 4800 and handled with minimum hands-on-time.
