Compact Dry CC
HS7311, HS7312
Product info
Intended use
Usage of Compact Dry CC is a simple and safe test procedure for determination and quantification of aerobic mesophilic count in tea products or other samples which contain antimicrobial agents. The ready-to-use plates consist of a special 50 mm diameter petri dish containing a detection specific nutrient pad.
General Information
It is important to detect and measure the total viable count in all foodstuffs and production environment to monitor the degree of cleanness as well as their sanitary safety. Using a common Total Plate Count (TPC) method the detection of organisms might be impossible as far as the sample contains substances which can inhibit the growth of the organisms.
The Compact Dry CC has been successfully developed based on new concept and technology that is applicable for catechin containing tea drinks or sample which contain antiseptic substances. Thus a simple and easy to handle system combined with a medium that enhances growth is required to satisfy the needs of the user in the laboratory.
The ready-to-use, chromogenic Compact Dry plates are suitable for in-process controls as well as controls of finished products. With the optional additional product Promedia ST-25 swab test (Z0302) or Compact Dry Swab (ZCS1002953) Compact Dry plates may also be used for surface sampling and therefore applied for quantitative hygiene monitoring even at surfaces which are difficult to reach.
Benefits:
- Compact Dry CC is therefore an extremely easy-to-use method and also convincing due to the high time saving; a confirmation test is also not necessary.
